Project Reviews

Periodic reviews provide valuable insights into a project's 'health' and the confidence in its success.

Maciver Project Services’ experienced, independent project managers typically carry out reviews/health checks at three key stages:

• Project Initiation – to check that the scope is clear, the plan is achievable, the project’s stakeholders are on board and the processes and tools to support delivery are in place.
• Project Delivery Progress – is it on track, are key risks being mitigated, is the remaining budget realistic and do the benefits still fit with the wider organisation’s business strategy?
• Post-Project – to check that the project achieved its critical success factors, the benefits are on track to be realised and the project investment is being protected through appropriate handover to Business As Usual activities and responsibilities.

Project Reviews also give Programme/Project Sponsors the reassurance they need that: people with appropriate skills and experience are deployed on the project; its stakeholders fully understand the project status and issues involved; the project is ready to progress to the next stage; and there is visibility of realistic time and cost targets.
